Courtney has a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. Before becoming a therapist, she worked as an elementary school teacher, which deepened her passion for supporting children beyond the classroom.
Meet Courtney.
She specializes in working with children (ages 5 to young adults) and their families, helping them navigate challenges and build on their existing strengths. Courtney believes that difficult moments can be opportunities for growth, equipping individuals with lifelong tools for resilience. She has experience supporting clients with many different challenges including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, panic, interpersonal challenges, and emotional dysregulation.
Her therapeutic approach is client-centered and integrative, drawing from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Narrative Therapy. She creates a safe, empathetic space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions without judgment, empowering them on their path to healing and self-discovery.
